Brechin City 1 : 1 Ayr Utd - Jackson denies Ayr

A second-half goal from Andrew Jackson earned Brechin City a deserved point in a 1-1 draw at home to Ayr.
Ewan Moyes missed a glorious chance to put Brechin ahead after 27 minutes, dragging his shot wide from six yards out.
Anthony Marenghi had a similar opportunity to open the scoring for the visitors after 35 minutes but he fired high over the bar from the edge of the six-yard box.
Marenghi made up for his earlier miss just two minutes before half-time, firing past Graeme Smith into the bottom-left corner to give Ayr the lead.
Alan Trouten came close to equalising with 20 minutes to go when he unleashed a wicked effort that just cleared the crossbar.
But the Hedgmen did draw level after 74 minutes when Jackson nodded in Steven Jackson's cross.
