Win against Ukraine more important than 100th England cap, says Lampard

The Chelsea midfielder never imagined making a century of appearances for his country, but says the achievement would be dampened by defeat in Kiev on Tuesday night
Frank Lampard says the achievement of earning a 100th cap for England would be dampened by failing to beat Ukraine.
Roy Hodgson's side head to Kiev knowing victory would give them a huge boost in qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.
Defeat, meanwhile, would see Ukraine pile on the pressure in Group H, and Lampard wants to mark his century with three crucial points.
"The main thing is to get the result," Lampard told reporters. "I just hope to be involved. It wouldn't be enjoyable to get to 100 and not do it right."
The feat of representing England 100 times is not lost on Lampard, but the midfielder insists he is focused on victory in Kiev.
He added: "I never dreamt of getting anywhere near 100 caps to be honest. I will be very proud, 100 is a long time [playing], but first and foremost we need three points.
"I'd love to fly back from Ukraine with three points because that would put us in a strong position."
