Asier Illarramendi returned to training with the rest of the side on Saturday in the penultimate session before Real Madrid's second league game of the season at Granada on Monday in the 'Los Cármenes' stadium.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti was able to welcome back Illarramendi who trained at the same pace as his team mates, according to the club. Jesús could not work with the side and trained alone, while Varane, Xabi Alonso, Khedira and Cheryshev continued their fight back to fitness.
The session, that took place at the club's Valdebebas training headquarters, began in two separate groups with the keepers Casillas, Diego López, Adán and Tomás Mejías making up one of them. They started with some ball work with goalkeeper trainer Villiam Vecchi.
The second group, containing a total of 18 outfield players, began with an intense warm up before going on to do some ball work.
Divided into two groups and using Casemiro and Illarramendi as wild cards, the players practised keeping possession and moving the ball in reduced spaces. Nacho, Marcelo, Carvajal, Sergio Ramos, Modric, Kaká, Ronaldo and Benzema made up the first group with the rest of the players in the second.
