His new girlfriend's personal life is just as colourful.
In September 2008 Raffaella decided to capitalise on her appearance in Italy's eighth season of Big Brother — Grande Fratello — by offering to sell her virginity.
Described in the Italian Press as a "showgirl", the model made it to week nine in the house but decided on the unusual plan so she could buy a house in Rome and fund acting lessons.
She simply stated: "I am putting up for auction my virginity for one million euros to see if someone will pay that amount to have me.
"I can't wait to see who's going to pull out the money to have me. If I don't like him, I'll just have a glass of wine and forget about it."
