Jovetic: To be offered new deal
Fiorentina remain confident that they will soon be able to announce a new deal for star Stevan Jovetic.
The Montenegrin midfield playmaker has just under two years left on his current deal with the Florence giants.
But the Viola are desperate to fend off reported interest from the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Barcelona and hope to be able to announce "good news" on Jovetic's contract extension in the near future.
"He's an extraordinary player," honorary president Andrea Della Valle told the Corriere dello Sport.
"We certainly don't want to deprive ourselves of his ability, but there is no need to put pressure on him regarding his contract.
"There is plenty of time to discuss this matter and we'll soon be able to give you some good news about the situation."
Fiorentina are believed to be looking to tie Jovetic down to a new four-and-a-half year deal.
