African stars must replicate club form - Pokou
Former Ivory Coast frontman Laurent Pokou wants Africa's top footballers to take their club form onto the international stage.
The 62-year-old, widely regarded as the one of the best strikers ever to come out of Africa, has challenged the likes of countryman Didier Drogba and Cameroon forward Samuel Eto'o - both of whom will be at this summer's World Cup finals - to show the form they have for Chelsea and Inter Milan respectively.
"We saw what he (Eto'o) did with Barcelona and now at Inter," Pokou told www.cafonline.com. "Drogba is also doing great with Chelsea. He has been exceptional. All these performances must be replicated with their national teams."
