Port Vale midfielder Michael O'Connor will be given until the last moment to prove his fitness to face Crewe, who could be relegated on Saturday. O'Connor missed the 4-2 defeat at Chesterfield with a thigh injury after coming off in the Easter Monday loss against Barnsley.
