St Etienne set to take Sinama-Pongolle on loan

SAINT-ETIENNE, France (AFP) - Much-travelled French striker Florent Sinama-Pongolle is to sign on loan for Ligue 1 side St Etienne from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon, the French club announced. The 26-year-old - capped once - will undergo a medical on Monday and if he passes it he will sign a year long loan, with St Etienne having the option to buy him at the end of that spell.
