Francesco Camarda could be the next big thing in European football - and for good reason.
The AC Milan wonderkid boasts an extraordinary record of 485 goals in 89 games at youth level as of June this year.
This makes for a stupifying average of 5.5 goals every game - a figure even Lionel Messi would be proud of. The 14-year-old has spent the last five years in Milan's academy. And with numbers like that, he is widely considered one of the brightest prospects in Europe right now.
Over the summer, football scout Sciabolata Morbida posted the insane number of goals the forward had netted for Milan's youth sides.
It is thought that Camarda, who was fast-tracked to Milan's Under-15 side at the age of 13, netted an astonishing 240 goals in 40 games in the 2017/18 campaign. This was before he found the back of the net 172 times in 31 games the next season. And in the following campaign, he scored 64 in 16.
He helped Milan’s U15 side win the Scudetto in June, scoring the winning goal in what was a 1-0 victory.
Camarda scored the decisive goal via a header from inside the box to help seal the win for the northern Italy side.

At the time, many flocked to social media to talk up the youngster. One wrote: “There’s a 14 year old youth player at Milan called Francesco Camarda who’s scored 485 goals in 89 games from u10’s to u15’s. Has there ever been a goal record similar in academy football at that age in recent memory?”
Another said: “You can screenshot, you can write it down but remember this kid,his name is Francesco Camarda he is 14yrs old & plays for @acmilanv U15. At the age of 10 he scored 247goals in 40games & by 2021 has a record of 485goals in 89matches. It's okay to say this boy does not miss. #Wonder.”
Camarda is a boyhood Milan fan so it may be quite hard to pluck him away - though you can count on the fact some clubs will be after him in the future.
