Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is facing a battle to land Ajax winger Antony.
Ten Hag remains eager to sign the Brazilian, though United chiefs are unhappy with Ajax's £70m asking price.
He worked for two seasons with Antony at Ajax and remains keen on a reunion despite the player's valuation.
Last season Antony scored 12 goals in 33 games for Ajax across all competitions.
But United won't push through a deal unless Ajax drop their price.
