Jurgen Klopp has sensationally been blamed for some of the chaos by the French home secretary for inviting chaos around the Stade de France during Saturday's Champions League final.
The Liverpool boss, 54, has been called out by Gerald Darmanin for contributing to the horrendous scenes that saw Reds fans blasted with tear gas and pepper spray whilst waiting to enter the 80,000 seater stadium. French officials claimed supporters arriving without valid tickets was the reason for a three-and-half-hour hold-up outside the ground, which saw a significant section miss the entirety of the first half.
But now Klopp has also been criticised by French authorities for supposedly encouraging fans to head to Paris even if they did not have a ticket for the match.
Prior to the final, the German gaffer was quoted saying: "If you don’t get a ticket – I don’t want to invite people to Paris but this time it’s big enough and I did this last time for Basel in Switzerland and it was ‘Oops’.
“But I think Paris is big enough to go there without a ticket and have a good time, behave yourself but be in the best possible mood. These kind of things are a great thing and if you can’t go there then watch it here in any kind of surrounding, it will be absolutely fantastic."
Now Darmanin, 39, has blasted the "behaviour" of Liverpool supporters whilst also highlighting fan trouble at the Champions League final in Madrid and the European Championships at Wembley.

Speaking at a press conference at the French Ministry of Sport, he said: "The presence of so many British fans without tickets already happened, notably in 2019 in Madrid. And it created similar types of difficulties. There were the same issues at Wembley last year.
"The behaviour, the disorganisation and a huge market in fake tickets. And I remind you that the coach of Liverpool a few days ago called for fans to come to France even without tickets.
"And we found ourselves with tens and thousands of British fans of whom a part has fully respected and bought tickets or went to the dedicated fan zone.

"I remind you that there were tens of thousands of fans in the fan zone without problem. They have respected the rules. But there was a smaller but active part that clashed with our security system."
He also added: "It is only in football with certain English clubs that there are these problems."
