On the eve of Manchester United's huge Premier League match away to Leeds United, Edinson Cavani was spotted at the Amir Kahn vs Kell Brook fight.
The United hitman was already ruled out of the Reds' huge match against their fierce rivals by Ralf Rangnick.
A niggling groin injury and stomach bug will see the former Paris Saint-Germain ace miss the encounter with Marcelo Bielsa's side, according to the United boss.
Cavani has missed United's last two Premier League matches against Southampton and Brighton and Hove Albion.
And with the striker missing the affair at Elland Road due to illness and his groin injury, United fans were less than pleased to see him at the AO Arena.
Edinson Cavani was spotted at the Amir Kahn vs Kell Brook fight.
“Can't even bother turning up to United games but makes it to the boxing…” said one frustrated supporter.
“'Yeah boss, I'm not feeling well, got bit of a stomach bug and my groin is still. Don't worry, I'll be at home resting up',” added another fan sarcastically impersonating the Uruguayan.
“100% people will hate on him because he has the United game tomorrow and he's apparently injured,” explained another supporter.
“That's him not playing tomorrow then” added another supporter.
United have the opportunity to open up a four-point gap over fifth placed West Ham United in the race for the top four.
Despite the frustrating draws against Southampton and Burnley, their victory against Brighton has put them in a strong position coming into the clash at Elland Road.
But with United still struggling to find the back of the net, many United fans have likely been willing Cavani back from injury.
Unfortunately, despite the fact he will be in attendance at the Khan vs Brook bout, Rangnick stated he was unavailable for the clash against Leeds.
"Well, as it seems, Edinson Cavani will still be out,” Rangnick confirmed in his pre-match press-conference.
“He is still having some problems with his groin, and, on the other hand, also some with his stomach.”
