The Portugal captain, his girlfriend and his children all arrived in Manchester earlier this week after he completed his return to Manchester United on deadline day

Cristiano Ronaldo's four children have started at their new school in Manchester and have posed for an adorable picture uploaded by Georgina Rodriguez, Ronaldo's girlfriend.

The family arrived in Manchester earlier this week after Ronaldo re-signed for Manchester United before the international break after 12 years away from Old Trafford.

Having trained in the second half of this week, the 36-year-old could make his second United debut on Saturday as the Red Devils host Newcastle United at Old Trafford.

Ahead of Ronaldo's potential bow in front of the United faithful, his four children have started at their new schools in Manchester.

Rodrigues posted a picture of Cristiano Jr, 11, Alana Martina, three, Mateo and Eva Maria, both four, on her Instagram account on Friday.

The four siblings pose in their new school uniforms in the snap captioned: "And so we end the week. New stage loaded with illusion."

Alana Martina is Rodriguez and Ronaldo's daughter and was born in 2017, the same year that the couple started dating.

Cristiano Jr was born in the USA and is understood to have been birthed by a surrogate mother, as is the understanding for four-year-old twins Mateo and Eva Maria.

Cristiano Jr spent three years in the academy at Juventus during his father's time playing in Italy and is believed to be set to join the set-up at United after Ronaldo's transfer.

If this were to happen, he would become team-mates with Kai Rooney, the eldest son of England legend Wayne, who played with Ronaldo at United for five seasons between 2004 and 2009.

Ronaldo completed his return to United on deadline day, signing from Italian giants Juventus for £13.5million on a two-year deal with the option of a third.

He originally left the club in 2009 for Real Madrid after six years in Manchester, scoring 118 goals in 292 appearances and winning three league titles and the Champions League.
