Portuguese megastar Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly pushing for a move to Manchester City this summer.

Ronaldo has one year left on his Juventus contract, but reports suggested he's looking to leave the Old Lady before the transfer deadline.

City have emerged as a potential destination, alongside PSG, Manchester United, and Real Madrid.

However, Pep Guardiola's side are in need of the striker after the departure of Sergio Aguero earlier this summer and potentially missing out on Harry Kane.

And according to French media outlet L'Equipe, Ronaldo is looking to 'engineer' a move to City as soon as this weekend that could include a swap deal for Bernardo Silva or Aymeric Laporte.

Ronaldo was left on the bench for Juventus' Serie A opener with Udinese over the weekend, adding further speculation he could be leaving.

The 36-year-old was a late substitute, and with the game tied at 2-2, he thought he had bagged the winner with a superb 90th-minute header.

However, VAR intervened to rule the goal out and gift Udinese a hard-fought point in Udine.

City, on the other hand, have been in hot pursuit of Tottenham's star man Kane, but Daniel Levy is reluctant to see his talisman leave to a rival.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, contacted Manchester City over a £25million fee.

However, Guardiola's has no intention to pay a fee for the 36-year-old when he could secure his services for free next summer.

Whereas Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting that City is the only option for Ronaldo.

But, Guardiola will only move for the superstar if Raheem Sterling leaves this summer, it is suggested.

PSG have also emerged as a potential destination for Ronaldo, and should Kylian Mbappe move to Real Madrid it could pave the way for Ronaldo.

However, both reports suggest that Ronaldo has no intention of a move to the French capital.
