Mbappe's PSG stint
Mbappe would make the switch to current club PSG in 2017. The Parisians would first sign the youngster on a season-long loan for the 2017/18 campaign from Monaco.
Said deal had a clause that would allow PSG to purchase Mbappe permanently for a fee believed to be around £166m, which they of course did.
Mbappe has since gone on to feature 174 times for the French powerhouse, netting 133 goals and providing 63 assists along the way.
And, after Lionel Messi signed for the club this summer, PSG fans were no doubt eager to see Messi, Mbappe and Neymar all linking up.
Real Madrid bid for Mbappe
However, it now looks as though Mbappe could be departing the Parc des Princes before the summer transfer window shuts.
Reports stemming from France earlier on Tuesday suggested that it is increasingly likely that Mbappe will be sold to Real Madrid this summer.
And now, as mentioned above, further updates on Tuesday evening also suggest this could end up happening.
Firstly, talkSPORT are reporting that Real Madrid have made a £160m bid for Mbappe.
This comes with the Frenchman now in the final 12 months of his PSG contract:
