IT'S OFFICIAL. Gareth Bale loves golf more than football - at least if his Stay at Home challenge is anything to go by.

The Real Madrid superstar took part in the craze sweeping social media, but with his own unique twist.

Lionel Messi made the toilet roll keepy-up task look easy. Bruno Fernandes did too.

Even John Terry's daughter got in on the act, with a little help from the Champions League trophy.

But perhaps the most impressive version of them all has come from the 30-year-old Welshman.

Bale sets the camera up behind him as he prepares to chip into a toilet roll placed up against his golf bag about three to four yards away.

And in what appears to be the first take, he clips the ball right into the ring in the middle of the roll.

Bale celebrates with a fist punch and a laugh - something he is probably more used to doing on the course rather than the pitch this season, with just three goals in 18 appearances for Los Blancos.

Bale wrote alongside the video: "Hole in one! @taylormadegolf. I nominate @tigerwoods, @rorymcilroy and @thesergiogarcia for the #stayathomechallenge."

Not everyone was impressed though.

One of his followers commented on the post: "Go play soccer man wtf is this."

Another wrote: "Gareth Bale, one of the top footballers in the world, still does golf for the stay at home challenge."

Bale was given the nickname 'The Golfer' by his Bernabeu team-mate Thibaut Courtois because of the amount of time he spends on the course.

And he famously posed with a flag that read "Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order." after Wales beat Hungary to secure their spot in the postponed European Championship.
