Cristiano Ronaldo Blocks Website For Their Low Valuation Of Him

Cristiano Ronaldo is so unimpressed with how much he is apparently worth in the transfer market that he's blocked website Transfermarkt for their £67.5 million valuation.

At 35-years-old Ronaldo is hardly slowing down and has scored 21 goals in 21 Serie A games this season, including equalling the league record of 11 games scored in in-a-row, and is only behind Ciro Immobile in the Serie A scoring charts.

However despite his excellent form the Juventus forward's value has dropped in recent years because of his age. Transfermarkt value each player and Ronaldo has dropped from £90 million when he left Real Madrid in June 2018 to 'just' £67.5 million now, 37th in the world, and that's left him very unhappy.

Twitter user False9Messi, took screenshots of Transfermarkt's Instagram activity where they revealed they'd been blocked by the five time Ballon d'Or winner.

Ronaldo's value, according to the site, makes him only the second highest valued player in Turin, behind teammate Paulo Dybala.

Recent Serie A addition Christian Eriksen, who moved from Spurs to Inter in January for less than £17 million, is the most valuable player in Italy at £81 million, followed by Dybala at £76.5 million and Barcelona target Lautaro Martinez at £72 million.

The former Manchester United winger's valuation puts him fourth on the list league list, level with Kalidou Koulibaly, Matthijs de Ligt and Romelu Lukaku.

If Ronaldo wants to feel a bit better about himself then he only needs to switch to CIES Observatory. The stats boffins rate Real Madrid's all time leading scorer valuation to be between 70 and 90 million Euros, admittedly not far off his Transfermarkt valuation at its lowest.

Surely at this point in his career the Portuguese superstar isn't looking to move clubs any way and who cares what a website rates your valuation at.

It seems very on brand for Ronaldo to be so competitive about it all, and that's what makes him still able to be banging in over 20 goals a season at this age. Long may it continue.
