Walsall could hand a debut to new signing Jack Nolan when they host Crawley in Sky Bet League Two.
The 18-year-old winger signed for the Saddlers on Thursday, arriving from Reading for an undisclosed fee, and may feature on Saturday.
Defender Shay Facey and Danny Guthrie are set to remain sidelined due to injury.
If manager Darrell Clarke chooses to make changes, centre-back Zak Jules could be in contention after falling out of favour during the festive period.
Crawley’s Tom Dallison signed a new deal on Wednesday and could feature on the trip to Walsall.
The defender is now set to remain at the club until 2022 but missed the previous match through flu.
Dallison was replaced by Jamie Sendles-White in the only change made by Crawley boss John Yems.
The manager has no fresh injury or suspension concerns to contend with.
