Aston Villa fans left Villa Park before the half hour mark after a scintillating Manchester City raced 3-0 ahead.
City lead 4-0 at half-time but it was at 3-0 when a large Villa contingent decided they'd seen enough.
A Riyad Mahrez brace and Sergio Aguero scorcher put Pep Guardiola's side in a commanding position early on.
And Villa fans were quick to flock to the exit after Aguero's strike and it was picked up by Sky cameras.

Gabriel Jesus went on to add a fourth in added time to compile the home side's misery.
Fans on Twitter were quick to react as masses opted to leave the action early.
Some Villa fans are leaving already. That could be a bad decision. You really want to be there if someone puts 10 goals past you.

Mahrez opened the scoring by drifting through the Villa defence and slotting home in the 18th minute.
He then doubled his tally six minutes later after a mistake from Villa's Danny Drinkwater.
The on-loan Chelsea man has ensured his debut will be a day to forget after being dispossessed in his own area in the build-up to the second goal.
Aguero then got in on the act less than five minutes later with his rocket.
You don't save those! 💥

The goal has taken the Argentine international level with Thierry Henry as the Premier League's greatest overseas goalscorer.
They are currently tied on 175 goals each and you have to think Aguero could break the record this evening if City perform this well in the second half.
Jesus' late first half strike stood out thanks to a delightful cross from Kevin De Bruyne.
