New attack on a footballer's statue: This time Alexis Sanchez

After repeated incidents of vandalism surrounding Zlatan Ibrahimovic's statue in Malmo, Sweden, Alexis Sanchez is the next player to have his tribute targeted.

The incident took place in Tocopilla, Chile, where the face of the Inter forward was attacked.

"They are a group of people who create anarchy and damage the city, taking advantage of the protests; I don't know what they want," Tocopilla mayor Luis Moyano told 24 Horas.

Police in the area are investigating the incident.
