Tottenham are ready to sign permanently Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.

The Argentine joined in the summer but has yet to set the Premier League alight having been limited to just two Premier League starts.

Marca says Spurs have an agreement with parent club Real Betis that they can land him permanently for £27million during the January transfer window.

If they wait until the end of the season that figure will rise to £34m.

The club have already forked out £15m in fees so far to lure him to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Injuries hampered his immediate impact in north London having arrived on the back of nine league goals in Spanish top division. Despite the inconsistency, Spurs are ready to deal him in.
