Akinola at the treble for Barnet

Simeon Akinola scored a hat-trick as Barnet cruised to only their second win in nine Vanarama National League matches with a 5-2 victory over Ebbsfleet.
Barnet were on the front foot and took the lead after 27 minutes when Jack Taylor let fly from 30 yards and the ball crashed in off the crossbar.
Ebbsfleet equalised 10 minutes later through Ayo Obileye, who slammed the ball past goalkeeper Scott Loach from inside the area.
But the Bees were back in front before the break when Akinola collected the ball on the edge of the box and cut inside his marker before slotting into the bottom corner.
Ebbsfleet were level through Gozie Ugwu’s close-range finish 10 minutes into the second half, only for Akinola to grab his second of the game moments later with a drive into the bottom corner.
Barnet pulled clear when Josh Walker tied the visiting defence in knots before prodding the ball past the keeper to make it 4-2 and Akinola completed his treble from the penalty spot.
