Joy of six for Daggers

Dagenham got off to a flying start as they crushed Aldershot 6-1 in the Vanarama National League.
The damage was done in the opening 25 minutes as a debut Ben House brace and goals from Emmanuel Onariase and Joan Luque had the hosts out of sight well before half-time.
Will Wright and Joe Quigley completed the rout midway through the second half before a Robbie Tinkler consolation.
House, who has joined on loan from Reading, made an instant impact, firing home the opener from Sam Deering’s pass after six minutes and then making it two after quarter-of-an-hour.
Two minutes later Onariase headed home a corner from Luque, who made it four with a composed finish.
Wright then picked out the top corner with a free-kick in the 69th minute and seven minutes later Quigley struck a sixth from outside the area.
The beleaguered visitors managed to muster a consolation a minute later when Tinkler headed home at the back post, but it could not distract from Dagenham’s dominance.
