Maidenhead look to bounce back in FA Cup following setback

Alan Devonshire’s Maidenhead will look to bounce back as they face League One side Rotherham in the first round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Magpies’ five-game unbeaten run was ended by Aldershot last weekend after errors from Alan Massey and goalkeeper Chris Dunn saw them defeated 2-0.
Former West Ham player Devonshire expressed his disappointment in the performance, threatening to omit both from the squad he sends to face the Millers.
“If they’re thinking of next week, they’ve got a shock coming,” he told the Maidenhead Advertiser.
Rotherham boss Paul Warne has a handful of new injury concerns ahead of the fixture.
Defender Joe Mattock has not been training with the squad and is unavailable alongside Trevor Clarke.
Richard Wood, Matt Crooks and Michael Ihiekwe are all carrying knocks, with the latter suffering from a sore Achilles.
Adam Thompson has rejoined training and could return after injury, but Clark Robertson’s comeback will be delayed as he cannot participate in training sessions whilst they are held on astroturf due to the wet conditions.
