Palmer could miss Scunthorpe clash with toe injury

Ollie Palmer is a doubt for Crawley’s FA Cup clash with Scunthorpe.
The forward picked up a toe injury in the Carabao Cup defeat to Colchester and missed last weekend’s loss at Cambridge.
Defender Joe McNerney returned from three months out with a back injury against East Preston in the Sussex Senior Cup in midweek and could feature in Gabriele Cioffi’s squad, while George Francomb’s toe injury will be assessed.
Striker Mason Bloomfield pressed his case for a return to the starting XI with a brace against the Southern Combination League outfit as the Reds secured a 5-0 victory.
Scunthorpe manager Paul Hurst is likely to stick with Sheffield United loanee Jake Eastwood in goal after his clean sheet in the draw with Stevenage.
Eastwood was given the nod over regular goalkeeper Rory Watson, whose error allowed Salford to claim an equaliser as the sides drew 1-1 a week earlier.
Matthew Lund and Jamie Ward missed the Stevenage stalemate with knocks picked up in training and will be assessed.
However, Regan Slater (foot) is set for a spell on the sidelines and midfielder Jordan Hallam is doubtful after sustaining an injury during an under-23s game against Walsall.
