Wait for win continues for Keates

Dean Keates is still waiting for his first National League win since returning as Wrexham boss following a 1-0 defeat at Torquay.
The Red Dragons are now winless in four league games since Keates, who replaced Bryan Hughes, started his second spell in charge at the Racecourse Ground.
Rob Lainton was tested in the first half when Ben Whitfield headed Jake Andrews’ cross straight at the Wrexham goalkeeper.
Lainton’s opposite number Shaun MacDonald produced a fine save early in the second half, tipping Paul Rutherford’s low shot past the post.
And Torquay went ahead against the run of play in the 56th minute as Liam Davis shot into the bottom right corner from Andrews’ lay-off.
Whitfield volleyed straight at Lainton, Andrews hit the crossbar from 25 yards and substitute Saikou Janneh was denied by a post as Torquay looked for a second goal.
Substitute Jason Oswell headed wide from James Horsfield’s cross late on for Wrexham, who are now three points from safety.
