Accrington will face Gillingham without defender Joe Maguire, who is recovering from a head injury sustained during his side’s 4-0 defeat to Peterborough on Wednesday.
Maguire was struck on the head by a powerful shot from Louis Reed and will not be fit to partake.
His role could be filled by one of two defensive players free to return to action after suspensions.
Ross Sykes has served a one-match ban after a red card during his side’s 2-0 defeat of Ipswich and Jerome Opoku is also available having satisfied his suspension for accumulating five yellow cards.
Gillingham will be hoping to end their three-game winless run with a victory at the Crown Ground.
Veteran defender Barry Fuller has returned to training and could feature if match fit.
Midfielder Matty Willock has also returned to training after a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury and could be available to make his second appearance for the Gills since joining in the summer.
Mark Byrne could also be included after serving the suspension he was awarded for picking up his fifth caution of the season against Peterborough.
