Rochdale pile misery on MK Dons

Rochdale notched up their third successive win and piled on the misery for League One strugglers MK Dons with a 2-0 win.
It took the home side just two and a half minutes to take the lead, Aaron Morley’s corner picking out the run of Callum Camps at the back post and he struck a powerful low volley past Lee Nicholls in the Dons goal.
MJ Williams struck the woodwork with a 20-yard drive but the second goal proved elusive for Dale and the visitors should have made them pay four minutes before the break when Callum Brittain was gifted a clear view of target but lifted a shot wastefully over the bar from 18 yards.
Brittain was on the end of another chance in the opening minutes of the second half, firing into the side netting from a tight angle but Dale’s second goal on the hour mark all but wrapped up the result, Henderson climbing above the visitors’ defence to glance home Morley’s corner and stretch Dons’ winless run to seven league games.
