Fleetwood without Ashley Eastham for Ipswich clash

Ashley Eastham will miss Fleetwood’s League One clash against table-toppers Ipswich on Saturday with what manager Joey Barton called a “little niggle”.

Eastham has suffered from tightness in his calf but Barton said the problem was not a long-term one.

Conor McAleny has returned to training following an ankle injury but Saturday’s game will come too soon for him.

Jack Sowerby is fit after playing in a midweek friendly against Accrington.

Ipswich boss Paul Lambert is hoping to have Toto Nsiala and Will Keane available for the trip as they look for a fourth straight win.

Nsiala is yet to feature for Ipswich’s first team this season as he has dealt with a hamstring injury but is fit again after turning out for the under-23s.

Keane has been sidelined with a groin problem, limiting him to only two league appearances this season, but Lambert is optimistic he will be fit.

Fellow forward Freddie Sears remains out with a knee injury.
