Stockport shocked by Aldershot

Stockport’s four-match winning run at home in the National League came to an end with a 2-1 defeat to struggling Aldershot.
The Shots came into the game with just one win from seven matches, but stunning first-half goals from Harry Panayiotou and Alefe Santos eased their troubles.
Panayiotou netted the opener on the half-hour, chesting the ball down and volleying into the far corner, before Santos fired in from distance four minutes later.
Things could have got worse for County as Ethan Chislett was denied by a fine save from Ben Hinchliffe and Panayiotou hit the post before half-time.
County substitute Joe Piggott set up a nervy finish with 15 minutes remaining, scoring on his home debut, but Aldershot held on to move out of the relegation zone.
