El-Bakhtaoui strike enough as Queen of the South beat Morton

Faissal El-Bakhtaoui scored the only goal of the game as Queen of the South held on for a first win of the season against Morton.
El-Bakhtaoui’s winner came after 16 minutes when he collected a pass from Stephen Dobbie and squeezed a shot from the edge of the box into the bottom-left corner.
A curling effort from Morton’s Kyle Jacobs went inches wide while Bob McHugh saw a goal-bound shot blocked after neat play by Luca Colville.
Nicky Cadden sent a shot into the side-netting and a fierce drive from Colville was well-held by goalkeeper Robby McCrorie as Morton continued to press after the break.
Cadden was denied by the keeper with 20 minutes remaining, while at the other end Dobbie headed wide when unmarked.
McCrorie pulled off a stunning save to keep out a Cadden free-kick eight minutes from time as Morton missed out on a share of the spoils.
