Evergreen Miller earns point for Partick
Posted Saturday, September 14, 2019 by PA
Kenny Miller scored a second-half equaliser as Partick Thistle snatched a 1-1 draw against frustrated Arbroath.
Jason Thomson had headed Arbroath in front in the first half after a cross from Bobby Linn, who had hit the woodwork moments before.
But veteran former Rangers, Celtic and Scotland striker Miller levelled shortly after the hour mark, having been teed up by Lewis Mansell, who had just come on as a substitute.
Home substitute Luke Donnelly was denied a late winner by the offside flag, with Arbroath aggrieved at the decision, as the game ended one goal apiece.
