Lee Wallace is closing in on his QPR debut and could be available for the Championship clash against Luton.
Defender Wallace has not played for his new club after sustaining a hip injury following his summer move from Rangers.
QPR boss Mark Warburton also confirmed that Olamide Shodipo is nearing full fitness following his knee issue.
Geoff Cameron might also feature against the Hatters after a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring problem.
Luton manager Graeme Jones is hopeful defender Martin Cranie will be available for the trip to Loftus Road.
Cranie, 32, has missed his side’s recent wins over Barnsley, Cardiff and Huddersfield after sustaining a knee injury last month.
James Collins, Simon Sluga and Luke Bolton will also feature in south London following their international exploits.
Danny Hylton is closing in on a return following a knee injury, but the game against QPR will come too soon for the striker.
