Birmingham look set to have a trio of players back in contention for the visit of Stoke.
Blues boss Pep Clotet expects Kerim Mrabti, Maxime Colin and Jefferson Montero all to be available on Saturday.
Attacker Mrabti (hamstring) has not featured since the opening day of the season while defender Colin has also missed the last two games with a hamstring problem. On-loan winger Montero was ineligible against his parent club Swansea last weekend.
Jacques Maghoma (calf) is nearing a return while Cheick Keita and Jake Clarke-Salter are back in full training after injuries.
Sam Clucas could be rested as Stoke look to get their first Championship win of the season.
The 28-year-old has started every league and cup game so far this campaign and Potters boss Nathan Jones has hinted at giving him a break.
Nick Powell has not played since suffering a calf injury on the opening day of the season and the forward will not be fit again until after the international break.
Teenager Nathan Collins is Stoke’s only other injury issue with a muscle problem in his leg.
