Chuma Anene could be handed a first start when Crewe take on Bradford.
Striker Anene, signed on a season-long loan from Danish club FC Midtjylland, made his debut as a second-half substitute in the midweek Carabao Cup defeat to Aston Villa and looked lively.
Teenage full-back Rio Adebisi made his first senior appearance in the 6-1 loss, but boss David Artell praised the 18-year-old’s display and he could yet keep his place.
Tom Lowery and Charlie Kirk came off in the second half to ensure they would be fit to face the Bantams, but Harry Pickering remains a doubt.
Adam Henley remains a doubt for Bradford after he missed the cup clash with Forest Green with a groin injury sustained against Stevenage.
Jordan Gibson made his return from a hamstring problem in the 1-0 defeat to Rovers, playing 65 minutes, and he will hope to keep his starting spot.
Jamie Devitt, who joined the club on loan from Blackpool earlier this month, impressed as a second-half substitute on Tuesday night and is in contention to start.
Fellow loanee Callum Cooke may also feature more prominently, with boss Gary Bowyer saying: “They showed promise and we’ve got to build on that with them, getting more minutes into them.”
