Mowbray hopes injury absentees can return for Cardiff clash

Blackburn manager Tony Mowbray has received some welcome injury news ahead of the visit of Cardiff.
Tosin Adarabioyo and Ben Brereton were both absent from the midweek win at Hull due to niggling injuries but Mowbray is optimistic the pair will be available on Saturday.
On-loan defender Greg Cunningham is forced to miss out as he is ineligible to play against his parent club.
Midfielder Bradley Dack is expected to be passed fit despite coming off with a knee injury at Hull.
Cardiff midfielder Marlon Pack faces two months out with a hamstring injury suffered in the 3-0 defeat at Reading last Sunday.
Pack joins goalkeeper Neil Etheridge (hamstring) on the sidelines, with Alex Smithies continuing to deputise in goal.
Scotland international Callum Paterson (knee) also looks likely to miss out and winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing will be assessed after he missed the midweek win over Huddersfield with a slight hamstring problem.
Lee Tomlin’s fitness will also be monitored after he started against Huddersfield, his first league appearance for the Bluebirds since December 2017.
