Wrexham came from behind to get off to a winning start with a 2-1 victory over Barrow.
The visitors started on the front foot and were rewarded after 13 minutes when Josh Granite headed in from a free-kick.
The Dragons hit back and Mark Harris saw an effort blocked by a defender and JJ Hooper fired wide.
Dior Angus was denied by Wrexham goalkeeper Christian Dibble when through one-on-one, while at the other end Hooper headed inches wide.
The hosts were back on level terms early in the second half when Hooper nodded in from a James Jennings flick.
Harris was denied by a superb save from Joel Dixon in the 54th minute and Wrexham got the goal their second-half dominance deserved seven minutes later when Bobby Grant headed in at the back post.
Paul Rutherford saw a third goal disallowed for offside, while Dior was inches away from a late leveller.
