Even if Real Madrid have better offers from elsewhere, James Rodriguez's desire is to be reunited with Carlo Ancelotti.
The Colombian has even phoned the coach to express this.
This is according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, who explain that a deal should be done because of the insistence of the player to move to Napoli.
Reports of a move to Atletico Madrid had surfaced in recent days, but James only wants to go to the Stadio San Paolo.
Napoli are believed to be willing to pay 42 million euros in three instalments and a deal should be finalised in the coming days.
The player could then be presented to his new fanbase on July 25.
