Lionel Messi's family restaurant have been providing food and drink for the homeless back in his native Argentina.
The country is in the midst of a cold period at the moment and so since Friday the Rosario restaurant, VIP, are helping out those in need by giving out hot meals.
They plan to continue doing this late at night for just over two weeks.
As #Argentina 🇦🇷 is facing Economic Crisis#Messi has asked to those in charge of his restaurant in #Rosario, to open the doors to people who live on the streets and provide them with shelter and food for free.

"We've also been giving out coffee, soft drinks and even some wine to some," restaurant manager Ariel Almada said, as per MARCA.
"Many people came and were very respectful. We're going to keep this up for 15 days, every night between 19:00 and 21:00."
Messi is heavily involved in philanthropy and earlier this year his charity 'The Leo Messi Foundation' partnered with the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to support the development of different projects in Kenya.
According to Marca, Messi's organisation will be donating €200,000 for initiatives that include building a new water pump and handing out food supplies.
The project will reach over 2,000 people in the country, providing access to clean water in primary schools for children and for families in their homes.
