Swindon’s Matt Taylor will bring down the curtain on his playing career when Notts County head for the County Ground on Saturday.
The 37-year-old former Portsmouth, Bolton, West Ham and Northampton midfielder announced earlier this season that he would retire at the end of the current campaign.
Manager Richie Wellens has indicated that the will turn to youth for the final League Two fixture with “three or four” second-year scholars likely to be involved in the match-day squad.
Defender Canice Carroll returned after a three-game absence with an ankle injury for last weekend’s 3-2 defeat at Cheltenham, but midfielder Danny Rose missed out with a tight hamstring.
Notts County defender Ben Barclay will be absent once again with his side knowing even victory may not be enough to keep them in the Football League.
Barclay serves the second instalment of a three-game ban incurred for his red card at Crawley on Easter Monday.
Matt Tootle is manager Neal Ardley’s only fresh doubt after missing training through illness in recent days.
Striker Kane Hemmings managed 76 minutes on his return from injury in last weekend’s 2-1 win over Grimsby last weekend.
