Liverpool Supporter Calls For Fans To 'Line The Streets' For Manchester City's Next Home Game

While Liverpool are thinking about the Champions League semi-final with Barcelona tomorrow and then the clash with Rafa Benitez's Newcastle United on Saturday, one of their fans already has his eyes on Manchester City's visit of Leicester City on May 6.
Incredibly, one chap with the username 'aggerdid' went on the popular Red And White Kop forum to urge his fellow supporters in the North West to head down to the Etihad for the Monday night clash.
He wants them to "line the streets" and ensure that it's not a "normal game" for the reigning Premier League champions.

Liverpool fans are of course well-known for lining the streets at Anfield ahead of big games, memorably giving City's team bus a not-so-pleasant welcome ahead of the 3-0 Champions League quarter final victory last year.

When City travelled to Merseyside in October, it emerged, via he Daily Mail, that they had fixed 15 HD cameras to the outside of the bus in order to record fans - while they also took a different, unannounced route to the ground.
City and Liverpool have both been frighteningly consistent at the top of the table and one of the closest title races in Premier League history could be decided by mere millimetres.
City's 1-0 win over Burnley in a potential banana-skin fixture at Turf Moor on Sunday was achieved through Sergio Aguero's 20th goal of the season in the 63rd minute - the goal being given thanks to the alert from goal-line technology coming up on the watch of Paul Tierney.
Aguero's effort had crossed the line by 29.5 millimetres to be exact and even City's official account compared the goal with the no-goal Liverpool experienced at the Etihad in their only league defeat of the season, back in January.

The ball was just 12mm from being over the line in a game Liverpool lost 2-1 and could potentially go down as a season-defining moment in the title race.
