MANCHESTER UNITED legend Dimitar Berbatov had a brilliant response when footage of his incredible assist re-emerged.
The Red Devils are preparing to face West Ham this afternoon.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will hope his side can keep themselves in the race for a European spot with a win at Old Trafford.
These two sides have faced each other 140 times previously, with United winning 65 of them.
One of the most memorable encounters in October 2008 as Sir Alex Ferguson’s side won 2-0.
Both goals were scored by Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 118 goals in his time at Old Trafford.
Footage of the goal was shared yesterday ahead of the Premier League game today.
But the focus was on another player – Berbatov.
The forward joined United that season, going on to score 56 goals in nearly 150 appearances.
And the Bulgarian sparked in the game against the Hammers.
Running forward, the Red Devils already has a 1-0 lead after half an hour.
Berbatov runs onto a ball from Carlos Tevez into the left corner.
He is under pressure from James Collins on the goal line – but the forward has an idea.
Berbatov controls the ball on the turn and flicks it past the Welshman.
Now in space and running to goal, the 38-year-old feeds the ball for Ronaldo to grab his second goal.
This footage was shared on the club’s official Instagram channel, where it has been viewed more than two million times.
The clip was soon flooded with comments from the United faithful.
But one from the former forward is absolutely hilarious.
“The easiest goal Cristiano Ronaldo has ever scored,” Berbatov said in the comments.
And supporters loved his response.

“You’re a legend,” one fan said.
Another commented: “Haha savage.”
While a third made a huge claim about the Bulgarian.
“You’re one of the most talented in United’s history,” they said.
This comes as fans called for Ashley Young to be removed from the squad against West Ham.
