Finally! Messi returns to the Argentina squad 250 days later

Eight months and six days have passed since Lionel Messi last wore Argentina's shirt at the 2018 World Cup, yet the No.10 will make his return to the Albiceleste for the friendly against Venezuela in Madrid on 22 March.
Messi had decided to temporarily step down from the national team following Argentina's disappointing World Cup campaign, where they crashed out to the eventual champions France in the last 16, but the Barcelona captain will have one eye on next summer's Copa America in Brazil with this decision.
The 31-year-old will play in the match at the Wanda Metropolitano against Venezuela, while he will not travel to Tangier with his teammates to face Morocco on 26 March.
This is because he will go back to Catalonia to recuperate ahead of Barcelona's final stretch of the season in LaLiga Santander and, assuming they advance past Lyon, the Champions League, in addition to the Copa del Rey final against Valencia on 25 May.
