Hull facing trio of fresh injury doubts for Millwall clash

Hull head into Tuesday’s Sky Bet Championship home clash against Millwall having been hit by a trio of fresh injury problems.

After each coming off in the 5-1 loss at Brentford on Saturday, goalkeeper David Marshall, midfielder Jackson Irvine and striker Fraizer Campbell have all been rated as very doubtful for this match by boss Nigel Adkins.

The Tigers already had Kevin Stewart, Daniel Batty, Jon Toral, Ondrej Mazuch, Angus MacDonald and James Weir sidelined ahead of the trip to Griffin Park.

Adkins has also said fit-again defender Jordy de Wijs is set to start against the Lions – it would be his first appearance since January 19.

Millwall boss Neil Harris looks to have the same group of players to choose from as he did at the weekend.

The absentees for Saturday’s 3-1 home loss to Preston, Conor McLaughlin (quad) and Tom Bradshaw (knee), remain unavailable.

Harris has said that he possibly picked the wrong team for that game and should have made more changes.

Steve Morison and Shane Ferguson came on at half-time – with Millwall 3-0 down – for Tom Elliott and Murray Wallace, and Ryan Leonard was then replaced in the 66th minute by Ben Thompson, who scored a minute later.
