Mauricio Pochettino Looked Like He Wanted To Fight Mike Dean At The Final Whistle
Posted Sunday, February 24, 2019 by sportbible.com
Mauricio Pochettino could well have a ban coming his way following his actions at the final whistle after his Spurs side suffered a shock 2-1 loss to Burnley.
At the end of the game, which was decided by a late Ashley Barnes winner, Pochettino trudged onto the Turf Moor pitch and in the face of referee Mike Dean.
The Tottenham manager was full of anger and pointing fingers at the official, with his assistant Jesus Perez also fuming. It was really out of character for the former Southampton boss, who appeared to tell Dean, "you owe me one".
He refused to comment on whether or not he reacted aggressively to something Dean said to him, when later asked by Sky Sports' Patrick Davison in a post-match interview.
😡 Wow! 😡

Mauricio Pochettino absolutely enraged at the final whistle, barking “you know very well” in Mike Dean’s face before being pulled away. All his emotions came bubbling out ⚪️🔵

I think the funniest thing about Pochettino's meltdown is that he's acting as though Mike Dean has betrayed him and is reacting like a lover who has been cheated on.

"You owe me one"? Spoken like someone who believed Dean was on his side.
Gotta wonder what Mike Dean said to Pochettino for him to turn around screaming what and tryna fight him 🤔 "you don't pay up you don't get the decisions" seems to fit

Dean, the most flamboyant match official in the land, is still waiting for his 100th Premier League red card. You just know that when it does happen, it's going to be a big one.
