Adrian Clifton’s 13th-minute goal allowed Maidenhead to make it three 1-0 wins in a row as Dover were beaten.
Clifton’s strike, deflected in past Mitch Walker after he cut inside, was his fifth goal in six games.
The in-form midfielder hit the bar shortly after, his side-footed effort bouncing back out, while he was also denied by a fine block by Kevin Lokko.
Chances continued to come for Maidenhead, James Akintunde off target, while the same man was denied late on when he burst through.
