Ross County overturn two-goal deficit to claim emphatic win at Partick Thistle

Ladbrokes Championship leaders Ross County battled back from two goals down to record a 4-2 win at Partick Thistle.

It was County’s third win in a row that sent them five points clear and brought the Jags’ three-match winning run of their own to an end.

Aidan Fitzpatrick turned the rebound home in the 21st minute after Kris Doolan’s shot had been saved before Christie Elliott scored from close range from a corner three minutes later to send the hosts into the break 2-0 up.

Ross Stewart got County back into the game two minutes after the break following a defensive mix-up and Jamie Lindsay then levelled in the 64th minute after a scramble in the box.

Stewart got his second of the game 16 minutes from time when he headed home from a corner before Billy Mckay wrapped it up from the penalty spot in the 79th minute.
