Callum Lang a doubt for Oldham’s clash against former club Morecambe

Callum Lang is a doubt for Oldham as they prepare to host his former club Morecambe.
The 20-year-old, on loan from Wigan, came off injured during the draw with Crewe on Saturday and Latics boss Paul Scholes will check on the forward’s fitness.
Should Lang miss out, it may open the door to a return to the starting line-up for Chris O’Grady – who replaced Lang on Saturday, making his return from a minor neck problem.
Recent signings Oladapo Afolayan and Alex Iacovitti have yet to be involved on a matchday, while Dan Gardner (knee) and Ousmane Fane (leg) remain sidelined.
Barry Roche is back in contention for Morecambe but Mark Halstead could keep his place in goal.
Shrimps captain Roche resumed training last week and was on the bench against Port Vale on Saturday. He might have to stay there after Halstead saved a penalty and kept a clean sheet at Vale Park as Morecambe won 1-0.
Liam Mandeville returned from injury as a late substitute against Vale but Morecambe remain ravaged by injuries.
Sam Lavelle and Andrew Tutte recently joined Aaron Wildig, Andy Fleming, Lamin Jagne, James Sinclair, Vadaine Oliver, AJ Leitch-Smith and Kyle Hawley in the treatment room.
