Andy Lonergan to continue in goal for Dale

Rochdale will continue to have Andy Lonergan in goal for their match against AFC Wimbledon.

Lonergan’s emergency loan was extended by seven days last week, with Josh Lillis thought to be three weeks away from a return after sustaining an injury against Walsall on February 2.

Recent loan signing Joe Bunney could be pushing for a start after being named on the bench for the last two matches.

Zach Clough is set to feature once again. He played the first half against Coventry after returning to the club for a second loan spell from Nottingham Forest.

Wimbledon will have Steve Seddon available after he was cup-tied against Millwall.

The Dale clash is likely to come too soon for strike duo Kwesi Appiah and James Hanson.

Appiah has been struggling with a hamstring injury while Hanson has returned to training after a groin injury but is unlikely to feature.

The Dons will be looking to build on their last league match – a 1-0 win over Walsall – as they seek to prevent themselves being cut adrift at the bottom of the table.
