Grimsby skipper Welsh sidelined for Cheltenham visit

Grimsby must do without club captain John Welsh for Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two clash against Cheltenham.
The veteran midfielder has been ruled out after picking up a minor hamstring injury in training.
Elliott Whitehouse remains sidelined for the Mariners but the midfielder is making progress with his recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Otherwise, manager Michael Jolley has an almost fully-fit squad to choose from as Grimsby look to make it four league wins on the trot.
Cheltenham will be without forward Alex Addai for the trip to Blundell Park.
Addai tore a hamstring during the Robins’ 1-0 win over Yeovil on February 5 and is expected to be sidelined for up to 10 weeks.
Defenders Sean Long and Will Boyle continue their recoveries from ankle injuries, along with forward Tyrone Barnett (hamstring).
Midfielder Nigel Atangana is out for the season with an Achilles injury.
